Fiona Morin

This solo performance explores the unspoken list of responsibilities that come with being the eldest daughter: overachieve, people-please, hold everything together, and never screw it up. Created and performed by Fiona Morin, a Drama major with a minor in English, the piece begins with the mythology of the “eldest daughter” and quickly expands into something many of us will recognize. Audiences are invited to laugh, wince, and see themselves in the story - even if they’ve never been the eldest anything.

Bas O'Brien

Bas is in their 4th year of Con-Ed, majoring in English and minoring in Drama. Having been a theatrical person since consciousness formed, the DAN School has been a dream for working with and around like-minded folk. They are particularly interested in the ways that theatre connects audience and actor, and the potential for non-traditional communication. For this show, they’re leaning into the original definition of amateur: doing something purely for the love of it.
