Theofest 2026 Content Warnings

Linden’s It Ends With a Hug contains mentions of the end of the world.

Liv’s The Wrighters Room contains group participation (encouraged but not needed) and an invitation to wear a blindfold.

Nicole’s The Claws of Devocation and The Soul Left Behind contains religious themes, references to sexual assault, and abrupt and distrusting sounds.

Will’s Disguise contains erratic movement and close proximity to audience,

Eshan’s Make a Deal contains flashing Lights in audience face, participation, yelling, and close proximity to audience.

Fiona KJ’s Waiting for Fish contains bullying and humiliation of the main character in an absurd fashion.

Annalise’s Somebody Not Sepia takes place during a time of intense colonialism in what is now called Canada. We acknowledge that the land on which we perform and share this story is the traditional territory of the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples. Similarly, Prince Edward Island, referred to in this show, is the unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq people who have lived there since time immemorial.

Elliot’s As Long As You’re Laughing contains very minimal audience participation, humorous discussion of cannibalism, death, murder and the end of the world.

Fiona M’s The Eldest Daughter Syndrome contains close proximity to audience,

Cassian’s Among the Stars contains mentions of dog death (very brief) and mentions of potential pet death,

Bas’s Clown Show contains a clown, sudden noises, the illusion of choking, possibly popping balloon, real actual sharp knife, and non-threatening audience interaction.

Devon’s Dog Face includes misogyny, yelling in close proximity, and audience participation.

Tara’s Get Your Just Deserts contains light and humorous discussion of murder and death, but no gore.
